PROJECT OVERVIEW

LOCATION

Linggi Base site is located within the water column of Kuala Linggi International Port. Its exact location is at the Sungai Linggi river mouth and is between 350 m to 500 m off the Kuala Linggi mainland, which puts it within the Malacca State Government jurisdiction.

The length of the island (at its longest) will be 3.1 km facing the Malacca Straits. Its width (at its longest) will be 1.8 km facing Tanjung Tuan.

The onshore expansion of Linggi Base on its reclaimed land includes the following key components that will be developed in the coming phase to fulfil the demands of our clients.

Liquid Products Terminal
The liquid products terminal comprises storage facilities, pumping facilities, instrumentation and control system, utilities and buildings.

 
 

Shipyard
The conceptual design of the shipyard accommodates a variety of shipyard activities, ranging from regular repair works and refurbishment to vessel dismantling. 

General Cargo Wharf
Berthing of vessels, transfer of cargo into storage area, warehousing

Fabrication Yard
Typical sequence of fabrication activities are as follows: Surface cleaning, cutting and machining, punching and drilling, straightening, bending and rolling, fitting and reaming, fastening (bolding, riveting and welding), finishing, quality control, surface treatment, transportation
